The Little Bridges staff are excited to begin this new journey with each of our families. This is a very important time for your children, as they develop a strong developmental, social and educational foundation. The staff is here to guide and encourage them in a positive, Christian atmosphere.
Each member of the Little Bridges staff is highly qualified, meeting or exceeding the licensing standards established by the state of California in selected course work as well as experience working with young children. Each staff member is fingerprinted and cleared with Community Care Licensing prior to beginning work in the classroom. All staff members support the philosophy of Canyon Creek Church. They are nurturing, warm and open to parent input.
Little Bridges provides a safe and supportive environment where your child can grow and explore. We are in a partnership together, so please do not hesitate to contact any of the staff with questions and comments - and definitely feel free to stop by and say hi!
Jacque Kirk is an educator and school administrator with deep local roots. Prior to joining Little Bridges in 2006 she was director of the Pleasanton East campus of The Quarry Lane School. Previously Jacque served as director of The Growing Room at Neil Armstrong Elementary School in San Ramon, an extended-day program. She also has taught kindergartners at The Growing Room at Twin Creeks School and 6th grade at two schools in San Lorenzo. Jacque holds a B.A in Human Development with an emphasis in early childhood education from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena and a K-12 Multi-Subject CLAD California Teaching Credential from California State University, Hayward. She and her husband have four children.
Yumi Lee has always been very passionate about working with children. She has been teaching for over seven years, ranging from preschool to 6th grade. She also has three years experience working with children, infant to high school, who have special needs. In 2005 she was the director of a pre-k to 6th grade school in Livermore. Yumi has a B.A. from San Francisco State University and a California Teaching Credential from Cal State Fullerton. She moved to San Ramon in 2005 and recently married.
